BWBR Summer Hits

A Musical Connection

For our 2021 Summer Holiday Card, we engaged our staff by showcasing songs that inspire them or provide a creative outlet beyond work. We collected their favorite road trip and campfire songs, incorporating these selections into two distinct soundtracks. Our goal was for recipients to enjoy these playlists as much as our staff does—perhaps evoking nostalgia from summers past or rediscovering forgotten songs that might resurface cherished memories.

The final mailed piece was a miniature record sleeve containing a small record disc featuring these playlists on each side. We created both Spotify and Apple Music playlists to accommodate different preferences, each easily accessible via a unique QR code. Today, these playlists continue to be used by BWBR team members both personally and professionally, including during staff meetings and Forum discussions. It was an undeniable success!

We distributed 3,200 pieces to clients, partners, current and former employees across our primary markets—healthcare, higher education, workplace, and high-tech throughout the Midwest. The response was overwhelmingly positive as recipients contacted us through emails and calls, sharing how they enjoyed the music while visiting their cabins or simply relaxing into the summer mood. For us, the value wasn't in measurable data but in the intangible experiences and personal connections fostered with the people we work with daily.
