Innovation Center Wall Graphic

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville approached us to design a custom wall graphic for their innovation center. They sought to visually represent their "Steps to Innovation" process, incorporating key symbols that reflected their methodology.

In response to their vision, I developed multiple design concepts, focusing on creating a sequential narrative rather than disconnected elements. I strategically storyboarded how these steps would flow together, establishing visual connections through thoughtful line work that naturally guides viewers' eyes through the space. This approach transformed isolated concepts into an integrated visual journey.

After finalizing the layout, I enhanced the design with gradient backgrounds to create depth and visual interest. To subtly reference the research and analytical aspects of innovation, I incorporated a refined graph pattern in the background—an elegant nod to research methodologies and note-taking processes.

Upon completion of the design phase, I collaborated closely with print vendors to ensure precise installation specifications were met. I also coordinated professional photography of the finished space to properly showcase our custom graphic in its intended environment.
